Absolutely mind-boggling series of events.
- Netanyahu's team wants to leak a document to discredit protestors
-They can't leak it within Israel because all Israeli journalism must be run through the army's censorship department
-So instead they leak it to a far-right German tabloid

THE RISE OF END TIMES FASCISM

My first major piece of the new Trump era, co-written with @astra.bsky.social.

The governing ideology of the far right has become a
monstrous, supremacist survivalism.

Our task is to build a movement strong enough to stop them. www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-i...

1. LLM-generated code tries to run code from online software packages. Which is normal but
2. The packages don’t exist. Which would normally cause an error but
3. Nefarious people have made malware under the package names that LLMs make up most often. So
4. Now the LLM code points to malware.
LLMs hallucinating nonexistent software packages with plausible names leads to a new malware vulnerability: "slopsquatting."
LLMs can't stop making up software dependencies and sabotaging everything
: Hallucinated package names fuel 'slopsquatting'

Humans are very weird and mostly do things because the people around them do them. This is true for me and you and everyone.

Interpreting bland, default human weirdnesses as repugnant, intentional immoralities will 100% make you miserable while alienating people from your ideas.
