So I know that when they do sell, it's because the customer really really loves that piece and has made room for it in their budget. ♥️ This customer commissioned a small pair of earrings to match too! I'll give you a peek at those soon 😍👌

When I make one of a kind pieces, I know I'm in for a bit of a wait before they find their homes. They aren't made for spontaneous purchases (although that does happen every now and then!)

I'll be selling at Melbourne Festival in September as usual, and I might squeeze in another fair towards the end of the year if I'm lucky. (Applied to a couple, still waiting to hear.) So it's really important that this part of the workshop reno is relatively quick and painless. 🤞🤞🤞

I'm waiting on the husbando to have another week off, and then we'll be tackling the job of tearing down the old boards and replacing the insulation. I'm hoping it'll be a fairly quick transition, as I don't want to have to stop making for too long.

It's used as a flux to keep the silver clean when soldering. I grind it with a bit of water in the dish to make a paste when I want to use it.
