Received Pronounciation, essentially the type of English accent they use in the news, government, American impressions of British accents etc (but very few actual places).
The RP accent doesn't pronounce many R sounds, for example. "Wohk" instead of the US "Work".

The Dream Extended Universe, I think it exclusively exists for nightmares. I have 2 different outdoor malls vaguely based on real life locations, one indoor department store that's a maze, etc., and even if the nightmare is not set in these places it'll be about someone who lives near there.

I just finished reading Shroud, and also Human Clay by that same author! Both were absolutely amazing, I fell out of scifi for a while but damn I'm back

powers' origins... all just chefs kiss. The fiance and kid were lovely as well, I did not expect (spoiler) to be a cultist but I did totally call who the Man was. 🤔
I thoroughly enjoyed it and I picked up the other two as well! 💜

It's not so much a mockumentary as it is just a documentary. Guy who has a paranormal museum hears about cursed statue on reddit, gets guys to send it to him, weird things actually start happening.

The parts where they walk thru comically long featureless hallways to get anywhere, with straight faces and zero acknowledgement, is such a good bit. It's the perfect type of humor that doesn't break up the bleakness of the show.

Does the "always start from the left" work differently in Japanese or Middle Eastern films, where the language is written right to left? Would be cool if that translated to visual language as well!

This game is 100% my vibe and I had a great time with it so far! PT meets Papers Please on a PS1. House of Leaves meets S meets Foucaults Pendulum (on a ps1). I mailed a pipebomb to my own fucking house. Tomorrow I'll try to mail it to the office nextdoor.
