Yeah, that figures. I have a friend who seems to think Trudeau is hiding under the bed waiting to instantly-murder anyone who says 'MAID'. 😐

I'm convinced the stuff comes off my pan easier if I do the wash-and-scrape immediately, taking a blast of steam to the face every time.
My pan's just stainless steel - is the temperature shock bad there, or are you talking about the ones with coatings?
