Rumble was never a series that rose to any level of quality higher than "fun in short bursts" but it felt reassuring to have it around. It never launched in a situation where playing it in co-op was easy which is sad since I think it would be really entertaining as a dumb party game

That'll take time though still I have a lot of other baggage to attend to to get there. So I am stoppable for now but watch the fuck out

Obviously good localization takes a long time and even Pokemon had only just started doing worldwide launches around that time but idk. I think releasing YKW2 and then releasing YKW2 Third Version a year later at a point where 3 was already out in Japan was maybe not great prioritization

I still put a lot of the blame on how consistently long it took for the series to be localized. The original game managed to launch before Pokemon X&Y did in Japan, whereas everyone else got it in late 2015 (more or less the point where the 3DS stopped being relevant to the average person)

Anyway I can't think of any obscure suggestions at the moment but I was planning to finally watch Tokyo Godfathers this year because I've been meaning to for a long time so maybe we could kill two birds with one stone
