Good news, for once, in a long fight to preserve #HIVfunding!

The FY2026 Conference bill - aka the final negotiated bill that passed both chambers and was signed into law - preserves the majority of HIV prevention & treatment funding, ignoring the cuts that the President and the House proposed.

As we plunge into 2026, it's good to reflect on the major HIV stories of 2025. We saw the Breakthrough of the Year with Lenacapavir PrEP, but unfortunately the rise of MPox and HIV diagnoses.

Let's reflect, then roll up our sleeves - we have work to do in 2026!
