Hi! I'm Nicolas. Gamer, blogger, reviewing stuff is my hobby! Planned All Along, my blog, exists since 2013 and I reviewed over 400 games on it so far. And I'm always planning to do more! Link's down here, check out the Archive or the Index!
I prefer positivity but am fair on what I cover.

I published a lot these past few days...

I think I'll take this coming Friday off. Expect my Top 12 nextm Friday (Dec 19th), my Year Plans: What I've Missed a week later (the 26th), and the year retrospective on January 2nd.

Then, a music article, and then, three film reviews.

Last Saturday, I went to see FNAF 2 in theaters. Here are my thoughts.

If you're a deer that was at MFF, at the Hyatt Regency, that went thru TSA Precheck at ORD Terminal 5 at 8:45am, you left your deer head base on the conveyor! I stood with it for 15 mins hoping you'd come back, then told a TSA agent what it was (+ how $$ it is) and they put it at their front desk 🙏

Final part! The Wii edition includes several extras from previous releases of RE4; so, because I'm thorough, I'm playing through them as well. Separate Ways, an entire secondary campaign starring Ada Wong; Assignment Ada, a shorter thing also starring her; and the Mercenaries Mode.

My very last time asking for this, I promise!
If you've got abouut half an hour of free time, help a guy out - I'm still looking for new responses to this survey of mine, so I can pinpoint the most obscure games I ever covered.

Already filled it? Please share the link around!
Have you heard of these games?
For December, I want to write an article on my blog in which I discuss the 12 most obscure games I ever covered. I cannot reach results about such a list on my own, hence why I am making this availabl...

For the next two years, I was thinking of very specific themes for my movie review months.

For 2026, I've got a few movies I've wanted to review for a while, and all three involve someone being stuck in a game world.

For 2027, I currently have 3 horror or horror-adjacent video game fims waiting.

...Okay, what the fuck is going on with Reddit, I can no longer copy-paste my review advertisement text over there??

Part 3 of 4, covering Chapters 4 and 5! We're dealing with Salazar, then attacking the source of the experiments made around Las Plagas - with more nasty surprises all the way to the final boss, Saddler. Including more encounters with Ada. Oh, and there's a dangerous ex-soldier going around, too...

Oooof, I overdid it describing the Separate Ways campaign. Guess I'm gonna have to cut some of it out.

Story of my life, going overboard describing a story!

Blindspots for Millennials 😅

IMO: it’s pretty accurate.

Tomorrow! Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Part 3!

I'll tell you right away: It's packed. Full coverage of Chapters 4 and 5.

God damn that game is story-heavy, you can't imagine how tough it was to incorporate all the important plot events in that very limited number of words.

....None of these results are all that surprising, all things considered. The only surprise I can see is that the only cuss on here is "damn", maybe I didn't want to be too vulgar on here so I held back.

Also, yep - "review", "game", blog"... I do use Bluesky a lot for self-promo, don't I?

Sometimes, early before or during winter, when I'm up late at night, through the mostly-transparent curtain of the living room, I see the blueish glow of the snow under the light of the streetlamps.

Like all Canadians, I'll think it's pretty as long as I won't be sick of dealing with it.

Part 2 of this Resident Evil 4 review! We finally save Ashley, and we end un in some creepy castle packed with cultists. Oh, and the less I say about the growth popping out of some enemies' heads the better...

I originally planned to finish receiving responses to this survey today, but I figured I could keep it up a little longer and see if I can still get a few extra responses.

I am not at 50 responses yet - only at 40. Think I can get 10 more?
REMINDER: I am still taking survey responses for my December project! If you've got about 30-ish minutes of free time, fill in the form! There's a LOT of games here, so you could either remember stuff you had forgotten, or discover stuff you had never heard of!

And, please, do share it around!

Random observation of the evening: I kinda hate the trope of "the conspiracy theorist was sorta right" because, although it usually makes sense in fiction due to the outlandish plots that can happen, it validates exactly the kind of people IRL that really should NOT be validated. It's a catch-22.

I have now seen Zootopia 2. Well, I went to see it yesterday in theaters. I have a lot of thoughts, and I'll try to squeeze a few hours of free time somewhere in these coming days to write a full article about it.

One of my final proper reviews for the year, and it's a big one. This is my first experience with a Resident Evil game, so of course I went for the most famous: RE4. The Wii edition includes the bonus content and DLCs from previous releases, and uses the Wii's motion controls for weapon aim.

Got Part 1 of my RE4Wii review ready for tomorrow, still adding images to Part 2. Got nothing done of Parts 3 and 4, and I really hope I can get them both done in time. Might end up a little tight, time-wise.
November 28, 2025 at 2:29 AM
Honestly, I amassed so many while writing my blog that I couldn't remember which one would be the MOST useless, but in regards to what I'm working on NOW...

Resident Evil 4 is programmed so that you can never look up Ashley Graham's skirt. She'll be off-shot or object. (see next post)
i was going through my X archives and found this by @superpodsaga.com, which I qrt'd at some point years ago

so, let me bring the question back: what is the most useless piece of video game knowledge you know?
November 27, 2025 at 11:44 PM
Part 1 of my Resident Evil 4 review is done! I think I did a pretty decent title card for it, too.

(My GIMP skills aren't big, buuuut I'm having fun doing these pictures, and that's what matters to me.)

Gonna add images to Part 2 tomorrow, and start writing Parts 3 and 4. Yep, it'll be that long.
November 27, 2025 at 3:33 AM
Finished Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition (including Separate Ways and Assignment Ada) today around noon. I'm good and ready to report on it all; tonight, I have some time, so I'm doing basic edition of Part 1 (and maybe Part 2 as well), to remove the train-of-thoughtness.
