Probably not a robot currently living in Vancouver. I do a lot of tinkering and open Source by night and work at digital ocean by day.
I kinda wanted to check out n8n this weekend to see what all the fuss was about. Oh cool it has sso. No need for local account risk....wait.. you need enterprise subscription even for local hosting of an "open source app"

Stupid sso tax

is there a way to make linked in useful again? like remove all the posts? I liked knowing when people got promoted or switched jobs so I had an excuse to say hi or get excited with friends about the fact they are at $company now

Please share this with anyone you know who still uses LiveJournal. It could collapse next week; it could last another two years. I think "next week" is probably too fast and "two years" is probably pushing it, a lot; that's my only prediction.

Is it just my crappy insurance or is therapy coverage super low. Mine will cover like 4 sessions for a year. How is one supposed to get healthy. 4 sessions isn't even time to get introduced

as entertaining as the new running man movie is, it being a big budget large studio production is... kinda maybe ironic? not really?

Been getting a lot of emails/DMs lately asking when the next Eric Carter book is coming out so I'm pinning this.

I'm glad so many have enjoyed the books. Thank you.

But sadly there won't be one. The publisher dropped the series due to lack of sales. Totally understandable business decision.

since the "google is now training gemini on your email contents" thing keeps bumping around here: it's _not happening_. I say this not to defend google but because I know a lot of people that have broken their filtering and made their lives much more annoying from sheer misinformation.
The malwarebytes Google opting-your-emails-into-ai-training thing is not true. The post is based on one bad tweet.

I know anti-tech lamenting is a Bluesky core principle, but please use the same judgement you would for any other clickbait.

I like this ad. It's a good point. I'm not sure they should be promoting more scrolling but it's a good reason to use public transit.
