...and the social dynamics and moral failings of 1800's meteorologists than I ever thought I'd know or care about. Finally, five hours in to a nine hour listen, we're getting to the first hand accounts. FINALLY. I should have just stuck with podcast recaps/overviews of the event.

Hopefully I will be back on top of things in another day or two. If my Nurse Doggos have anything to say about it, I won't be moving off the couch from about five minutes from now until some time Monday morning!

Or like intense chalk drawings on sidewalks that are beginning to melt and mix in the rain! I don't even know how to describe these colors. Browns, but yellows. Reds, but whites. Blues, but silvers. Oranges, but also kind of pinkish. Oh… it's just all the colors of an old-timey sepia-tinted photo!

Slowly over the next week I'll be catching up on sleep but also adding things to the website as I get them unpacked and photographed. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces yesterday. I love you, Gainesville! 🤎
