Even the most centrist liberal people are starting to feel pressure from unaffordable healthcare, housing, food, etc. Then you see the democratic position being "money for cops and war only" and it's getting harder to justify why.

You know if it was real he's never shutting up about it.

It feels like more and more people are embracing left wing views and yet the DNC still cares more about fighting the left.

Like two weeks later and dude didn't even have a mark on his ear and right after that nobody ever talked about it again. Feels pretty fuckin fake.

I'm looking at Fluxer right now and it looks like it does pretty much what I want from a discord-like platform. I suppose it depends on how many other people are willing to use it, but so far I'm liking that as an alternative.

It's important to know that as long as it's plugged in most TVs are never actually off. It's convenient, because you don't have to wait for them to connect to the internet when you first turn them on, but that also means they're constantly connected to the internet even when they're not turned on.

I've consistently voted Democrat because it's obviously the better option in a broken system, but it's so broken, and settling for someone like a Biden or Newsom or anyone else that doesn't want to change the broken system is just a slightly slower death than the current GOP system.

Abolish ICE gets walked back to "limit and regulate ICE" - even when they're already not following existing limits or regulations.
Nobody gets held accountable for naked corruption, because nobody else in power wants to be held accountable for their corruption in the future.

Steps are good, but the problem we've had is that each step forward comes at the cost of something else, or the steps are small and immediately walked back as soon soon as the Democrats are out of power. Universal healthcare gets watered down to affordable for-profit healthcare that's unaffordable.

It's a rather weak attempt when nobody at the top is willing to give more than a token gesture toward the things you mention. Democrats can't claim to serve the people when their first priority is serving their donors and the system that keeps them above consequences.

My guy, I live in a deep red state where my presidential and Senate votes count for nothing. I've still voted for every shitty liberal the DNC puts forth from Al Gore to Kamala. You don't need to be supporting horrible people like Newsom 2 years before there's even a primary.

He has zero convictions except protecting capital interests and has already shown he's willing to harm marginalized people. Aside from not being as overt as the current regime, how is this taking America down a different path?

Liberals like Gavin ARE fascists, you dumbfuck

The only thing I saw was Kid Rock lip synching and not even making any effort to actually move his lips along. It felt like the last 5 minutes of an Almost Sunny episode.

Jeremy Strong would be terrible. Mark Strong, though, would be fantastic.

I swear they eventually start focusing on the family, but not in the James Dobson sort of way

The first candidate that promises to reach across the aisle with a baseball bat is going to win in a landslide.

To be fair I think Parker Messick is in the same boat. Both those guys are probably better than whoever plays ahead of them, but they'll probably have to wait until there's an injury or an Arias/Jones type player still struggles on their last chance.

I think there's a good chance Kayfus starts the year in AAA, at least until the first round of roster cuts. I don't think it's a knock on him, it's just that he blew through AAA so quickly he could potentially develop a bit and has all his options - and there are other guys on the opposite end.
