I share the "eat the rich" sentiment, but Iberian orcas attack mostly small sailing boats, 12-16 meters in length, owned or rented by regular sailing enthusiasts. Superyachts owned by billionaires are simply too large and sturdy, so they aren't one taking the hit.

Imagine not giving yourself, even in their fake idealised reality, an ability to slav squat. Embarrassing.

Guys. Somehow I look at the progress bar, and for the first time, I don't dread it. This is new to me, but I think it's a good sign.

I can see that. Do you imagine it with a focus on trading, or story? Or mix of both?

'Convoy' checks some boxes of your description, but it seems like a different game you are talking about.

Those "candies" are used to feed the champion to get stronger. Not the amount of battles with them, not the distance walked. It is how many brothers you sent to a grinder ☠️ Also they have genetic capabilities (IV) you can't overcome by any training, literally antithesis of the show.

It reminds me of my thoughts on Pokémon GO, where players are gameplay encouraged to behave worse than the show Team Rocket, by mass catching Pokémon, picking the strongest, discarding "for candy" the rest, until it is low health or no longer the strongest, then it is most optimal to discard it too.

Does it? The game itself doesn't have any mechanics for crop rotation, companion planting, soil regeneration etc. so the most profitable way to earn money is to just monoculture your whole farm, and automate it with sprinklers, and process your crop into e.g. wine for export, not local consumptions

Same here, just not in a doc.
Some of them are well thought out, a lot of text, diagrams, pictures and references, but some (at least 50%) are just one-liners thought on a walk to the shop like "{popular_game} but different with X" and leave it like that for future me to wonder what I meant.

I have a lot of ideas, but they are all bad plus some of them are bad and on top of that require millions of currencies to make them a bad reality.

I wouldn't recommend going for that magnum opus of 100% science based dragon MMO, or endlessly copying games like Pong and Mario for "practice", but to hit that sweet spot and have a go at a cool, small scope game idea you would love to play without needing to have a financial success with it.

"Hey! Does it make you white hot furious that other people like the game you allegedly dislike?"

btw are you on Gilded Destiny alpha early access?

What if we, while planting, needed to consider a biodiversity meter, soil quality, plants regenerative qualities, companion planting needs, our community preferences etc? I feel like you could still get a nice casual, cottage-core experience while making farming more in depth than it usually is rn.

Farming exists almost exclusively to fund other hobbies; new cosmetics, better tools, a new house. Both games have themes of slow life, ecology, community etc. but the most efficient way to get money is to find an expensive, low maintenance crop and just monoculture and automate your whole farm.
