I wonder if the girl/woman was r*ped if she or her family would claim she was a virgin to avoid the shame and blame. Good strategy. It’s always the woman’s fault.

Thanks. You made it easy for me!

I agree about the story. I never thought about it that way but you’re right.

Same. I must find the Hanukkah cowl. I can make one for my daughter and one for me!

Wow! I once had a date with a guy who called me (wrong number). He lived really close by. Didn’t work out but it was a fun story.

I thought of that.

Its beautiful!

I just did a toque with a corrugated band that curled. I ironed it out (it was in acrylic for a friend who can’t wear wool).

So cute! “Memory Lane” would be a great #showmeyourknits 🧶

I kept the sweater I knit for my son when he was wee. It was red so you reminded me of it. I kept it for the grandchildren I’ll never get 😢 (I understand why and I never bug them).

I didn’t know either! 😂

I haven’t but that’s the way I would do it.

Hummer mitts were the 1st. The pattern had the instructions. They were so nice & soft & warm. I just line all of them now. All you do is pick up the no. of stitches just above the cuff & plain knit the lining with slightly lighter yarn. The tricky part is getting the same length. Patterns in alt.

I knit a lining for all my mitts. It really makes a difference, more that just heavier yarn.

I did a toque for someone with no hair (alopecia). She was worried about it being too big. Fortunately, the pattern said that the fingering weight knit up small & suggested bigger needles. I used the size given & it was a bit small but perfect for my friend. I’ll look at this to knit for her again.

Who’s afraid of Virginia Wolff? Not me! Especially now that I know she was part of the coven, as my husband calls knitters. He says knitting is witchcraft 😂

Love the scarf! Beautiful work and one of my favourite colours.

That’s really cute!

I’m sure I can. Thanks.

I’m going to watch a video I saw about why it wasn’t like (maybe the same one). I can’t watch it, at least I don’t think so, in Canada but it’ll probably show up eventually.

I love it!

And warm socks and mitts and … Lots of warm stuff!
November 25, 2025 at 3:15 PM
I heard that knitters hate this show 🤔
November 25, 2025 at 3:11 PM
I had one like that. So annoying since it was sock yarn. All the other colours changed in a reasonable way but one just went on and on. I don’t mind the socks not colour changing identically but sheesh! They didn’t look like they really went together at all.

My guy just encourages me by squeezing himself in beside me while I knit… I would like him to encourage me from slightly further away but I take what I can get 😊

I laughed at this. I am sitting knitting 🧶 with a heating pad against my back and just thought I need to vacuum today! But that will be after we gather some more fall on our dog walk.
