it's a solid game though not anything too special besides being a completely new classic sonic game made recently
goes on sale pretty consistently for mania prices though if you really want to get it sometime

i know that's an option but it's always better if there is more public open options to play games in a series that don't require going online and getting a copy off of somewhere

not even any options to get the old version like how sonic generations handled it so you're basically exchanging mod support with a version that has 3-4 things added to it at a higher price with triple the storage size. great!
