You should have to retake your driving test every 10 years. Would cut bad driving habits and keep people up to date with Highway Code changes. The demand for tests would create more jobs. The inevitable number of failures would force investment in better public transport.

Just finished Mad Men and found myself weeping multiple times in that final episode. I’m a lot more alone than I think I’ve allowed myself to recognize. Perhaps some of that is due to living as perceptions of a person, rather than a fully realized human being. Living is weird.

Last night I was jerking it to a vintage porno that had been upscaled by AI and it felt like I was watching a very odd form of art, because it wasn't quite real but it wasn't NOT real at the same time. It made me think a lot about the recycling of media, but also fuck AI.

Why is it that I become creatively engaged and inspired ONLY when I have so much work to complete that I can’t actually do anything but that work?? Thanks a lot, brain.

I almost always want to know what my gay male friends look like naked, but not in a sexual way. I just want to see how accurate my imagination is (for the record, it’s about 85% accurate).

Painted in 1913, Paul Nash gave this picture the ultimate simplicity of a title, 'A Drawing.' The elm trees marked the boundary of his family's home at Wood Lane House, Iver Heath in Buckinghamshire. Trees always held a spiritual quality for him.
