While it must be emphasized that a lot can and will change before the 2026 election, with the polls we have seen since August this year, Frederiksen now looks more likely to lose, rather than win, the position of Prime Minister at the next election.

This is the source I used: www.altinget.dk/sundhed/arti...

They couldn't really combine Lillebælt and Horsens because the councils can't cross regional boundaries. And they weren't interested in changing those.

Speaking of the regions, the positions of chairman of each new health council were also distributed on Tuesday. Here's a map showing what party won each position.

Note that they are elected by a majority in each regional council; the result in the local area is not decisive.

23 of 47 councilors are from Region Sjælland, despite it only making up about 1/3 of the electorate in the new region. The system with a single constituency actually OVERREPRESENTS, rather than underrepresents the areas outside the larger cities and namely Copenhagen.

A lot of people were worried that there would be few councilors in the current Region Sjælland, but this shows exactly why the ministry went with this system, and not one of geographic constituencies.

I hvilken sammenhæng? Hvis det er at den er lavere for fordelingen inden for valgforbund, så er det fordi at mandaterne er billigere internt. Det har at gøre med den mekanisme bag mandatfordelingen.

There will be an additional recount in Helsingør Municipality (something that rarely ever happens) just to ensure the count is accurate. But it looks likely that the Conservatives will keep onto the position.

In Helsingør Municipality, it looked like the Social Democrats (A) had gained the mayor. However, the majority on the council appears to have flipped, after it was discovered that 100 votes for the Conservatives (C) were mistakenly attributed to the Social Democrats.

This will have ramifications for Danish politics heading into the 2026 election. The party lost voters almost everywhere compared to the 2021 result. And it struggles on multiple fronts.

Also did a map showing the largest party in each municipality and region.
