My completed blood knights for my Soulblight Gravelord spearhead Age of Sigmar force. Really pleased with how these miniatures turned out, especially the bases #warhammercommunity #ageofsigmar

The Charles Bridge in Prague, named after its founder, Charles IV, which dates from the late fourteenth century. It has 16 spans, is over 500 metres long, and is flanked by 3 bridge towers #medievalsky

The Powder Tower in Prague. Constructed in the late fifteenth century, it was originally one of thirteen gates of the city wall, later restored in the nineteenth century #medievalsky

Finally, I love seeing the prices in these old editions of WD - if only they cost this much now!

5th edition Bretonnians were the best in my opinion.

40k was far less popular in this era than it is now, but 2nd edition was a fun game.

It also comes with some cards and rules for Epic (a game which lived up to its name) has some. Sadly I never purchased a copy of the game (a friend had it) but have fond memories of it nonetheless

They also feature in a campaign against the dwarfs, in which they were victorious!

The High Elves in their 5th edition of WFB feature heavily in this issue, which is great as they are one of my favourites. Although I have a preference for 4th editions minis, the new (at the time) 5th edition silver helms, for example, still look great

A trip down memory lane looking at a White Dwarf from June 1997 (210). Which is the golden age of Warhammer and GW as far as I am concerned #warhammer
