This is quite literally one of the things we fought a revolution to stop.
It bothers me that both sides are so clearly celebrating the military achievement and “efficiency” with which Maduro was extracted. Dozens, perhaps more than a hundred, of presumed innocent people lost their lives that night. Nobody talks about that.

Bluesky is part of the problem. When I tried to write a nuanced take on the shooting, it allowed just enough characters for one opinion. No nuances, no mitigating circumstances. And who puts together a whole thread on their phone?
