(sad that it took watching the entire world tear itself apart in online brainwashed polarized radicalization for me to realize some basic things, but better late than never)

something like this has been maybe the biggest benefit of social media for me. it took over a decade on twitter, but i think it ended up making me (slightly) less reactive after years of the extreme opposite

the internet actually isn't about connecting us to one another, improving human communication, or enabling us to see and be seen. it's all about letting you get really esoteric with your hobbies

(this may not be technically what projection means, sorry)
