Love animals, food, books, music, movies, and funny people who find me even funnier. Anarchosocialist, responsible for the one person campaign against raspberry sherbet. Quite possibly the sanest person in this asylum but they won’t let me use scissors.
No, it would be more likely that the people were sent off to labor camps, were disappeared to another country, and that the children are being trafficked. Given Donald’s close association with Epstein and his own questionable comments about his daughter when she was a child, likely.

How about focusing on and holding the current president accountable for the damage occurring right NOW? You want to hold people of the recent past accountable for something? Sure, valid, do your thing. But don’t use it as a whataboutism to excuse or deflect from the tragedies happening today.

A primary step of ensuring we are meeting the needs of communities that face hurdles is to HIRE the people from those communities to engage us in empathy based strategies focused on solutions rather than bandaids. This means hiring them at the core of the work not just the front facing side of it.

Exactly! Many people have stigmas around conversational tone. I had a boss once who told me that my asking “does that make sense” sometimes when we would be discussing something I was working on felt condescending to her. I was hurt at the time but I get it now.

I LOATHE the term “resilient”. It is commonly used in the corporate sphere to laud staff members who are willing to “go along” with the standard. The standard that is comprised of abusive capitalist ideals, toxic ideologies, and unhealthy expectations of constant artificial positivity.

Um, yeah, it should. Or at the very least all medication should be federally funded through our taxes.

It’s just common sense. If taxes were implemented to ensure the sustainability of infrastructure and the needs of the public, then every form of healthcare should be in that mix entirely.

“They’re all different and they all have feelings. Just like you used to before you tried to destroy my dreams.”

(I kid. Don’t say that unless he has a spectacular sense of humour.)

I’d use it as an example of transition, preservation efforts, and an artifact of time meeting progress being visually represented within architecture. Its inelegance makes it elegance because rather than destroy in order to mask, they chose to adapt in order to preserve.
