This definitely is a thing... Another reason I'm happy with NixOS is that I had to look into setting this up only once (which did take a long time), then added it to my configuration and ever since it works out of the gate on a fresh installation.

Finished #Lufia2 last night. Loved the unconventional dungeon designs, the overall pacing, the music and that ending in particular. It has soul and it's a classic for a good reason.

Got somewhat back into a rhythm after my amazing 4-week trip through #Japan . Even though it was pretty challenging combining the heat, crowdedness, travelling with two kids and an ambitious itinerary, I had an absolute blast.

In the past week, I travelled through Aomori, Hakodate, Shiraoi, Sapporo and Otaru. Now I'm on my way back to Tokyo from Kamakura to unwind for the final days of this amazing #Japan trip.

Finished the original 1996 #SakuraWars . I now understand why it garnered such a following.

The cast is super fun, it's richly illustrated and beautifully animated. I didn't particularly care for the story direction in the final two chapters or the battle system at all.

There's *a lot* to miss

Finished the 2019 #SakuraWars . Beautiful to look at and a fun cast, but it never really grabbed me. When the pacing picks up, it goes too fast and never really explores the consequences of what happens. I'd played the demo before, so my expectations for the combat segments was already

Finished my first two games of #Civilization6: a diplomatic victory with the Netherlands and a domination victory with Indonesia. I usually prefer the culture or science route, but I amassed diplomacy points too quickly and that Jong armada was too powerful not to use.

I also finished #Terranigma and #Halo 2. Great games. Terranigma had been on my shelf for ages, so I'm glad I finally got around playing it. Outside the Bloody Mary fight, I had a great time playing it.

Cleared Serpentcoil Island in #ShirenTheWanderer6. Finding the Fuuma Shield at F19 and a Swift Grass at the final boss area really helped. Love the game, curious to explore what more it offers.
