The weekend is coming. Time to follow your dreams. Your very weird and batshit crazy dreams.

It's cold and your body is burning extra calories to keep you warm. That's not hobbity. Have at it.

My neighbor's cat, who finally accepted me as a friend and lets me pet her. She drools like a Saint Bernard when she's getting scritches.

Happy New Year to you too.

The main thing I miss from the first season was the nods to the 80s and to d&d. I know they can't fit it in at this point the way they did it the beginning, but I still miss it even though I like a lot of the new season too.

Generic products disappeared by 1988. Why would you have a memory from when you are 3 years old or younger?

The Qualcomm stock thing is BS. The company didn't have an IPO until 1991. How could your parents sell stock that doesn't exist in the '80s to buy diapers for you?

Generic products never saved enough on the final bill. That plus the off putting plain labels was what killed the generic labeling. Now we have store brands with pictures on the label because, realistically, the label adds a fraction of a cent to the manufacturing cost.

It wasn't meant to help the poor. It was the same as store brands today: products made by a manufacturer of one of the brands discounted 5% or less. It added up, but didn't make a big difference.

You could combine the two for the ultimate experience, but the corner pocket will never be the same afterwards.

Dried fruit is still fruit, so it gives you a serving of fruit. Generally you can double the volume of dried fruit to compare it to fresh fruit for serving size.

Does the book answer the age old question "Does Boba Fett drink boba tea?"

The latter half of 1925 is the date mentioned as past raids in the article, but the article is about a "sequel" to those, so it's sometime after that. I included 1925 in the money conversions anyway because it was interesting to me.

Depending on the exact year $1,000 a week during prohibition would translate to $18,000 to $24,000 a week in today's dollars. Incredibly good money.

It's no FIFA Peace prize, but congratulations!

Sadly, there's no real chance I'll see the notification and get to your site in time to get one, but still; want!

You sell yourself short. I've been reading since very close to the first comic you posted and, while your drawing ability may not have been great, your comedic timing was good and you could tell a story filled with jokes and still have serious themes. It kept me coming back for more.

It's a "crowning" achievement.
