Nearing the end of my Godzilla watch through. One more Heisei movie then on to the Millenniums and I'll be caught up with the Japanese movies.

Getting close to being done with the Heisei Godzillas. A couple duds, but on balance really enjoyable, especially as a guy who grew up on Americanized mecha and tokusatsu content. Also, Clue in theaters was so fun!

More statewide than just my hometown, but growing up it was definitely Maid-Rite. Loose meat sandwiches for all!

Pretty thin movie week, but a couple good ones. So far quite liking the Heisei Godzillas and really enjoyed Bugonia.

The specific call out of Tim Scott by Mace makes me raise an eyebrow. Curious if she was calling the cops and TSA agents "DEI" and 'low-IQ".

Pretty good week. Godzilla Quest continues with maybe my favorite so far since Gojira; a very high/low date night double feature in the middle; and a truly awesome documentary from a few years back that I'd missed. Also, not pictured here, Netflix's The Perfect Neighbor, which I highly recommend.

Getting towards the end of the Shōwa Godzillas and, boy, they do not seem to be getting better. Halfway through megalon and it is real janky. The Mechagodzillas are my final hope.

Really good week. Maybe my favorite movie of the year, one of the better Shōwa Godzillas, and one of the best anime movies of the '00s. All Monsters Attack, on the other hand, kinda sucked.
