I’m honestly open to law changes if there’s evidence they won’t negatively impact public safety. The way these questions implied Mass is an out-of-touch outlier pissed me off, though, and I let them have it.

The map that’s going around lately. First round. Honestly if I were actually in the sort of position I was in in my 20’s, where moving for opportunities and such is easier, I’d probably be more open-minded about a lot of the orange and even red sections here. I did live in Tennessee.

Celebrated my 40th birthday by getting a group of friends together to spend the weekend together and ride the 6 Gaps route in the Green Mountains of Vermont: 130 miles and 12,000 feet of climbing. A route I’d wanted to complete after doing 4 of the 6 gaps 7 years previously.

He and his wife joined the church of Theodore Parker, head of the local vigilance committee, whose congregation included several other fugitive slaves. The publicity surrounding the Crafts naturally attracted their owner’s attention. As soon as the fugitive slave bill became law he sent two agents to recapture them. This was like throwing a rubber ball against a brick wall. Boston was the communications center of abolitionism. To be fair, they didn’t overcook it TOO much. I’m screenshotting the two relevant paragraphs here. But it’s worth noting that the context is De Crescenzo noting that the UCI Worlds course doesn’t suit her or most other LTGP pros, which is straightforwardly true.

I don’t think Democrats should deliver tariffs for the UAW, the UAW is wrong that this will be good for UAW members, but even if they’re right, most Americans aren’t UAW and tariffs will hurt them.
