Last day in the #EdenValley so packed a fair bit in today. Hiked up to #HighCupNick in the morning and then walked around the Upper Eden in the afternoon. A sprinkling of snow and brilliant clear sunshine helped amplify the sublime views. #WildBoarFell and the #Blencathra range omnivisible.

Last day in the #EdenValley so packed a fair bit in today. Hiked up to #HighCupNick in the morning and then walked around the Upper Eden in the afternoon. A sprinkling of snow and brilliant clear sunshine helped amplify the sublime views. #WildBoarFell and the #Blencathra range omnivisible.

Cracking walk in #PettsWood on the last day of BST. Happened across this memorial sundial dedicated to the #WilliamWillet who made it happen exactly 100 years ago.
BTW, if you’ve recently lost a pair of glasses in the aforementioned wood, they are perched on a tree stump 25m south of the sundial!

Cracking walk in #PettsWood on the last day of BST. Happened across this memorial sundial dedicated to the #WilliamWillet who made it happen exactly 100 years ago.
