Ok its been over an hour since I glued the spine. Close enough. Parts of the boards are exposed in this structure so I painted them with some black acrylic paint to make them a little less obvious. NEXT time I will do this before attaching them. XD

Working on some book binding adventures today. Couple little notebooks using the structure I saw earlier on YT. Got a text block sewn. French link stitch with waxed cotton. Some iTone felt writing paper scraps from work.
