Thank you so much to everyone that donated to give her a fighting chance. She tried so hard, but at least she didn’t have to suffer, either. If she had remained in this condition her intestines would have eventually given out.

The veterinarians tried everything, and Michele was covering everything at that point so if there had been something they could have done, they would have. Everyone’s been taking this one really hard, even our emergency vet was in tears.

This little girl (previous owner named her Gizmo) has been hospitalized with the worst constipation the emergency vet has ever seen. I’m in contact with Michele now so we should be able to cover anything she needs, but it is very touch and go and there is a chance she may not survive.

Right now I’m taking her to a friend’s to sit in an incubator to try to help while we either get in touch with Michele or find a way to at least pay to get her seen at the emergency vet ourselves- all of our funding has been going directly to our vet to pay off existing bills so we’re very low.

Yeah! And he can pull his tongue in, he does so regularly to moisten it and it’s kind of like if he’s focusing on keeping it in his mouth he can- but the second he stops paying attention to it it slowly starts to slide back out.

We were going to do a naming contest for him to raise funds for the rescue but ended up too busy and Rachel started calling him Flibbit “because he’s a weird cat and he needs a weird name” and it stuck.
