My name is Chris and I'm a Newcastle United fan

I like other stuff too, but that's not important right now

He wont go, and I dont want hin to

But, if we're playing pretend - we're not gonna find anyone tactically better than Howe, but some stardust/glamour wouldn't go amiss for the club to help bring some star players and raise our profile/mystique:

Simeone
Zidane
Luis Enrique
Inzaghi

It's been mentioned by lots of folks including journos but it's not clear if Wolte+Wissa will be our usual starting formation or an option for some games. None of us really know where Eddie is gonna turn to make things right tbh

hope we can spoil it a little bit for you next time, but I don't hold out much hope 😳

I think although Howe is usually very unlikely to change lineups all bets are off after the break with 3 or 4 coming back from injury and such bad form. I think they'll still be in the lineup tbh, but cleansheets are a thing of the past

To sober anyone up, the 4 names mentioned by the gutter press as likely candidates if Howe went are:

Glasner
Iraola
Xavi
Ten Hag

😳

Think Ramsdale deserves a chance but Eddie never changes until forced by injury/suspension
November 10, 2025 at 1:31 PM
to be fair, Brentford were pressing like maniacs
November 10, 2025 at 12:23 PM
In most gamed you'll get one save and one mistake most keepers wouldn't make

I'm kinda up for Ramadale and trying something new at this point, altho gunner fans told me he's a heart-in-mouth keeper as well 😳

The exchange rate is 4 good seasons allows you one bad. He's given us 3.5 good seasons so it's on a knife edge...
November 10, 2025 at 12:19 PM
He's frightening. The title may come down to who out of him or Saka can find and maintain the best form...
November 10, 2025 at 12:18 PM
that's a fair read. I think most folks who criticise Dan at LB feel intensely guilty about it coz a) he never stops trying, and b) he's top quality at CB.

I did wonder that Tripps has been LB for England (not great I know) then you could have Krafth or even Thiaw at RB.

yeah, struck me that Mitchell fucked up the Isak situation then PIF kept telling Howe they'll still keep him, but gave up in the last week and Howe had to find a new plan.

Tonali
Tino
Botman
Barnes

all the most likely to leave/bids, but all would require over-value bids to get them

Tino and Tonali are the ones we need most to keep out of those.

I'm trying not to think about that. Our recruitment is nearly spotless. Look at LFC last season, lost Trent against their will and Diaz and Nunez - two starting attackers - all after winning the league. There's no protection, but we have to keep their contracts tight so we get good fees.

I reckon

😳
Through 11 matches, the Premier League's most unplayable attacker this season is this guy, and it's not actually that close.

Yes, it helps to play with Haaland, but Doku is 1.5 times more dangerous with the ball around the box than anyone else in the league this season.
November 10, 2025 at 10:55 AM
yep, 100%. Fullback and striker needed.
November 10, 2025 at 10:51 AM
I'd hope so, but we need to see some green shoots. Pep obviously had a lot of credit in the bank because of his record everywhere..
November 10, 2025 at 10:51 AM
That extra marking should work for us, like it did with Isak when the opposition CBs just followed him around, as it leave space. But our wingers seem busy elsewhere.
