The man is currently in town dealing with a family friend (in my neighborhood) who is on their death bed. And I guess his walk was to clear his head. I can only hope talking with me and petting on Ghost made is day a little easier to handle.

I don’t really know where the idea to go for a walk came from—I had no plans to. But it feels like I was meant to. I’m not religious, but it’s a little…eerie? I don’t know.

Learned his father passed from dementia. As will mine.

Learned he’s into drag racing (🏎️) which small world, my parents are too. And he seemed excited to have someone to talk to about it.

He joined me on a 15 minute walk with my dog, and just vented about his dad and uncle passing, and how relatives and people he didn’t know were coming and demanding stuff, and just how tired he was.

Considering my dog is 110 lbs, Andy bullshit meter wasn’t going off, I said sure.
