Why is the Environment Minister trying to dodge scrutiny and grab solo decision-making power over the Shannon LNG facility?

Fast-tracking the importing of fracked gas while seeking no proper democratic oversight of the planning process is a deeply worrying development from this Government.
Proposed law would enable Minister to decide on process relating to State gas reserve

The @greenpartyie.bsky.social in Ireland in the last government brought in much reduced fares up to 25 years old for buses and trains. It's been brilliant. The issue now is the new government with no Greens in it has stopped investing in public transport!! We lack capacity to keep pace with demand.

Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil can't get their story straight on Mercosur

Last December their MEPs voted to delay and weaken safeguards against deforestation in Mercosur countries

X's continued promotion of the Grok AI tool and complete lack of safeguards must now be investigated as a criminal matter.

In the meantime, Government must enable Coimisiún na Meán to step in and regulate this platform appropriately.

A huge turnout of farmers in Athlone today, opposing the #Mercosur trade deal.

It's time for a wider conversation in Ireland on regenerative farming, one that rewards farm families for producing good food, restoring nature, fixing our water and locking up carbon.
