A good afternoon at the #UKChampionship #Snooker. Great win for Zizins against Carter. Heathcote also looked great against a typically casual Lisowski. Hats off also to Slessor who toughed it out, winning by a point in the last frame.

It's not a vintage Crucible final (assuming Willo doesn't win ten in a row!). But elite sport is not always about close contests. Watching a great player perform at the highest level on the biggest stage is enjoyable in itself. Overall it's been one of the best World #Snooker Championships ever.
