I'm too old and too tired to keep up a character specific profile anymore

I like Superman, X-Men (mostly Rogue, Gambit, Emma, and Iceman), Iron Man, She-Hulk, fantasy/sci-fi rogues, and synthwave
I mean...it looks like Wonder Woman's tiara

I was just listening to a podcast guest appearance I did in 2019, and I'm depressed by how boyant my voice sounded back then, versus the gravelly old bastard I sound like now

IRONMAN

Every time I've illustrated this character before (and there haven't been many times), I've never been happy with the result. Despite using vibrant colors, it always ended up being a rather flat and bland illustration. But this time, I'm quite pleased.

Enjoy!

To the list of the many things Scott Lobdell should not do, I would like to add "Don't use 'y'all' to address a single person"

Justin Theroux's Robert House in Fallout Season 2 could very easily also be Andrew Ryan from BioShock

I haven't read this story since it came out, so maybe there's an explanation for this that makes sense, but I remember at the time it made me roll my eyes so hard it could see my brain

I'm very pleasantly surprised by how much I'm enjoying 90s X-Men this time around. I'm starting to realize that my distaste for it actually in the 90s was more about associating it with unpleasant aspects of my life at the time than the actual comics themselves

In Episode 124, Connor and returning guest Patrick Sullivan swirl into space with the variable Amelia Voght! Created by Scott Lobdell and John Romita, Jr., Voght is one of the more memorable characters introduced to the X-Men franchise in the years immediately following Chris Claremont's departure.

For this week's #VintageToyTuesday I want to talk about one of the favorite 80s toy lines I never had, the Sky Commanders. I was obsessed with grappling hooks and zip lines as a kid, so I guarantee if I'd had a few of these my grandparents living room would have been a death trap of string

A lot of that movie is so camp it makes me cringe, but I could watch Lori Petty being adorable and doing cool stuff to skate punk songs all day long
