The attacks on Labour from BBC News are now so relentless, day after day, minute after minute, putting headline negativity on absolutely anything they say, or do.

Are they now the official opposition?

Lots of coverage today on these new government proposals to reform the alcohol licensing system.

I can see an inherent popular appeal to allowing pubs to stay open later, but I have a lot of thoughts about why these plans are an extremely bad idea..

This has got to be a lessons learned moment for #science & #GlobalHealth

No 1 country should be able to shut down international programs like this

We were all stupid to have allowed this vulnerability to arise

Now we need to find solutions & boost support for UN infrastructures once again
As feared, the #DHS program is closing

This is a major threat to the #globalhealth statistical infrastructure moving forward

We must reorganise ourselves in the international research community to ensure this work can continue without political interference

NEW on Wonkhe: James Coe heads back to Darlington and worries the civic agenda is becoming a bit too distant, a bit too middle class, and a bit too removed from the lives of people in the communities it seeks to impact. https://buff.ly/402xYcg
