Palestinians whose families have lived in West Bank region for generations are being attacked by illegal settlers (many with US passports).

Israel's IDF turns up & arrests those being attacked.

Israel's govt recently approved 19 new settlements in West Bank.

This strikes me as a perfect description of Israel’s relentless oppression of Palestinians and the eventual reaction of Hamas.
it's that thing school bullies do where they relentlessly pick on a kid for days, weeks, months and then when that kid finally snaps and loses their temper they play it off like their victim is unreasonable and out of control.
There’s a thing with gender criticals who profess not to be transphobia where they do this whole: hey look at me and how calm I am, fucking dipshits

Trump says Europe is useless, weak and dying.

But the Old World is quietly doing a much better job of building a liveable tomorrow than the USA.

Just ask Finland, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Portugal.

Finland is the “happiest country” on Earth. A masterclass in future-proof democracy.

A resilient society with universal education, low corruption, strong unions, high press freedom. Built on consensus not chaos.

A future beyond the dreams of Trump's America.

A small, cold country on Russia’s border has been the happiest nation on Earth for eight years in a row.

Let’s find out why. 🧵

As the Trumpkins in the US howl the climate crisis is a hoax, Denmark is on track for 100% renewable energy by 2030.

Danes are global leaders in the offshore wind tech that will power the next century as the USA wallows in the oil and gas mess of the last one.

Germany is practising the kind of long-term economic thinking that the US gave up after the Moon landings.

Massive investment in electric mobility, green hydrogen, smart grids, and rail is replacing fossil-fuel jobs with high-skill, high-tech ones for millions.

With rising seas threatening 60% of its land, the Netherlands is building floating neighbourhoods, climate-adaptive architecture, and world-leading flood defences.

Dutch cities are literally built for the climate of 2050.

Most U.S. coastal cities aren’t even prepared for next hurricane season.

Portugal went from economic crisis to European energy pioneer.

It’s pushing almost 70% renewable electricity, slashing coal dependence, expanding public transit, and investing in green-tech jobs.

Another European country showing the USA a real future rather than an imaginary past.

Europe isn’t dying.

It’s preparing. By innovating for a better future for its vibrant, multi-cultural people.

Not hurting its own population with sad Imperial fantasies about white supremacist world domination like Trump and his pals

Reform accepted £9 million from a former Boris Johnson backer & crypto-multimillionaire.

Today, Nigel Farage postures as a righteous defender of the same democracy he actively undermines.

Democracy should never be for sale. It's time for a cap on political donations.

Feel like I'm going mad. The Budget's 'headroom' is based on frankly irresponsible and wildly optimistic claims about what Labour will do in the final year of the forecast, and on ignoring a bunch of upward pressures on spending, and the claim is that she was being exaggeratedly *pessimistic*?
Suggestion Rachel Reeves exaggerated fiscal pressures is absurd
Chancellor was instead far too optimistic about public finances and government’s ability to secure cuts

The human population of the earth is approximately 9 billion. 9,000,000,000.

If you placed them each into 1 square metre they would all fit into Cyprus. Have I miscalculated?

So Europe will foot the bill, Trump gets the proceeds, and Putin can invade again any time? It is high time Europe steps in and takes responsibility, instead of being submissive to the US. European political leaders cannot fail this test.
Point 14 shows just how much Trump considers himself to be the "President of Europe" right now (as he put it).

According to the 🇷🇺🇺🇸 "peace plan", 🇪🇺 would give the €210bn frozen Russian assets (plus €100 extra!) to the US, which would invest it in 🇺🇦 and receive the profits.
