October 16, 2025 at 8:05 AM
(5/9) Our King’s College London team highlighted the importance of understanding regional contexts and patterns in disinfo campaigns to construct tailored responses and holistically build resilience at multilateral, regional, and local levels.
October 16, 2025 at 8:05 AM
(4/9) Embedding RN counter-disinformation preparedness into institutional routines and maintaining transparent communication is crucial. We also highlighted the importance of societal trust, continuous monitoring, and early detection to build lasting resilience.
October 16, 2025 at 8:05 AM
(3/9) Our ONN team demonstrated how radiological and nuclear disinformation functions as a deliberate instrument of hybrid warfare and shared practical lessons from Ukraine’s response. We also discussed ways to prevent false narratives from taking hold.
October 16, 2025 at 8:05 AM
(2/9) During the Symposium, Initiative members from @centerforhealthsecurity.org, @kingscollegelondon.bsky.social , and Open Nuclear Network presented some of our findings from over the past 18 months on how to build resilience against CBRN disinformation.
October 16, 2025 at 8:05 AM
(4/4) The Initiative will continue to provide analysis and tools to counter these narratives. Sustained collaboration and vigilance are essential to build resilience against RN #disinformation at future #IAEAGC gatherings and across CBRN multilateral fora.
October 6, 2025 at 9:16 AM
(3/4) We welcomed Austria and Spain’s recognition of the urgent need to address #disinformation and #misinformation in their statements. Yet despite this progress, such narratives remained prevalent throughout the #IAEAGC.
