With commentary such as this, it is pretty clear that the UK is fully prepared to throw Denmark under the bus to preserve its "special relationship". Unfortunately they're most probably not the only country in NATO with that attitude.
Jeez. Greenland is in the NATO alliance. How hard can this be?
