Left of centre. Right of mind.
It is undoubtedly important that if this is not the case we need to be more robust in exposing that as well. Just ignoring the possible links serves no one.

Do you mean that we should just ignore any links if they are there? We know most rapes are committed by white males, but is also apparent that there is a disproportionate involvement by South Asian men in grooming gangs in some regions. Should we ignore that?

I would argue that although some laws have a Christian basis it is untrue to claim the UK is anything but secular. Barely 2% of the population visit church regularly.

In particular his refusal to cooperate over attempts to stop child sexual abuse on line. Forgive me for thinking the EU might be the good guys here.

At least part of the fine handed out to x was because of non compliance with the efforts to stop people using the platform to promote child sex abuse. Anyone else think that the EU might be on the correct side here?

Love the flag, hate the fact it’s being hijacked by swastika wearing thugs and racists to attack the very values that it embodies. It’s the flag our ancestors marched behind to defeat Fascism not to promote it. If you don’t like our values, feel free to leave.

At the time NF was singing German war songs and praising Hitler I was a student in Leicester standing up to the National Front and marching against Racists. I am only a little older than NF and entirely aware that telling Jewish students that “Hitler was right” has never been acceptable.

I assume he means his views are 40 years out of date and not remotely acceptable in a modern society. The BBC has changed Farage remains the same.

The USA only became a civilisation in 1965 after the passed the Voting Acts Bill, ending the deliberate disenfranchisement of people of colour. Something Trump seems keen to reverse.

He has a valid point, the BBC have learnt from their mistakes though and acknowledged their failures. They have changed though, unlike Farage.

I would look out for your pensions if either the Tories or Reform come to power, it’s the only viable place to cut the welfare bill. Or just possibly the Tories are lying to you, again. Thanks to the DWP for the stats.

720,000 people even if they were all in London and in this category (which they are not) would be a maximum cost of £18b. Where is the other £27b going to be found…

Off those able to work but are not doing so around 55% have been on benefits for under 12 months (getting a job isn’t always easy). That leaves at most 720,000 long term unemployed which is interesting statistically…

Of the £85b UC cost and those claiming
34% of claimants are in work
36% can’t work because of disability, chronic health issues or they are a carer
But that still leaves 30% however…

The welfare bill for next year is £317b, that’s a lot, but 55% of that is pensions and only 27% is universal credit and legacy payments still a large amount, but wait….
