Crushing to see Little Otik on this list. Saw it on DVD as a kid and it's stuck with me since.
A lot of my favorite 2025 movies are thanks to my blusky feed. All the love for Sinners and One Battle After Another got me to watch, not the trailers. Folks like @simonsaybrams.bsky.social and @blondekwaidan.bsky.social added a whole lot to my watchlist. So much good cinema thanks to recs here.

A good reminder that not everything WB has on physical media is currently streamable, so might be a good time to pick up some stuff that's on your watchlist.
I saw something similar in the end credits for Tinsman Road when it screened at Brooklyn Horror Fest. It got a huge round of cheers and applause. It really earns the filmmakers some goodwill to make clear their stance.
At a recent @seattlecritics.bsky.social screening of PNW short films at Northwest Film Forum, Wes Hurley's film Shelly's Leg, which ends with a no-AI disclaimer, elicited an enthusiastic cheer from the audience. There's a hunger to support artists who eschew AI *and* include unambiguous messaging.

The newly opened and already beloved Twisted Spine suffered flood damage recently. They are such a wonderful asset for horror fans in NYC, it's sad this happened so soon after they opened.

I saw Charisma on what I suspect was a bootleg, as the video quality was kind of muddy. It's one of those films I wanted to give a second chance if I could see a nicer version. Looks like I'll get that chance soon!
