i think it's really cool that it's 2025 and i've yet to see a major game engine be written in any of those meme languages like Rust people try to say are better. the closest i've ever gotten was Fortnite's anticheat launcher stub being written in Golang

Not to spoil the article, but Alex perfectly lays out the reasons of why Ubuntu switching from coreutils to the Rust-based reimplementation uutils is a great idea — EVEN if coreutils were perfect and bug-free.
