Lots of people and lots of bikes here at Seattle City Hall for Mayor Wilson's inauguration

Foggy New Year I guess. I bet the people at the Space Needle can't even see the top right now.

This post is so bad even Uncle Bob Martin had a good response. Cursed timeline.

My former precinct 43-3700 is always a weird one. It's in the middle of SLU but is right leaning. Why? The Mirabella retirement community! There's 5 different apartment buildings in the precinct but Mirabella made up 69% of the votes in Nov. 68% of the voters in November were above the age of 73!

Katie Wilson is trending on Bluesky. Apparently Seattle is a decent percentage of the site's users?

At 55.13% turnout for Seattle this election is now the second highest turnout since 2021 which had 55.30% turnout.

Before 2011 it's precinct data only which would make getting turnout numbers painful.

The election gets certified on November 25th. Ballot curing would need to be completed before then.

It's quite annoying now that a large percentage of the top sites when you look up almost any product will be AI generated sites. Like what the fuck is this?

Minor part of the CARE department announcement today but Chief Barden positively acknowledged former CMs Herbold and Lewis for pushing for a 3rd independent public safety department. CMs from the last council never get brought up positively by current city leaders so hearing this was surprising.

Good news, the Elliot Bay bike trail has reopened early at Terminal 91!
