I try to avoid mention, sight or soundbite of him; change the channel, go back a page, mute a word, whatever.

Been a bit calmer/happier/content in what I admit is my own ignorance of that man.

I know his influence on my world is not benign, but more be-him, the foul failure of humanity.

Hindsight is never clear, but it’s how we live sometimes while there’s a million nuanced things that happened and we’ve forgotten since. Our loved ones leave a hole in us that we have to live with, and fill with “what ifs” or “shoulds”. Try to take it easy on yourself, e hoa, and give it time ❤️

Been to see my mam w/ dementia in her care home on last trip home and even with facilities n staff it can be a lot. In a standard ward? Man.
There just must be nowhere else to go, because of the hosp’ care needed? (which is a system failing in itself, imho) Watch out, boomers

I’ve none this year but recall last year I took to trimming some eggs early on to avoid a crowd as they always cleaned out my plants, never seemed to be enough swan plant. I’m sure they’ll crawl off to find food
