I didn't really get all the hate for the current government, thought their slow responses to things haven't been great but felt that was minor. This new refugee thing is horrendous though. Like, what the hell!?

Calling excel wizards: is there a way to make like a macro thingy that can combine certain data from two different spreadsheets. ie, I want to take a report I run each week (Sparx homework) and add a field from second spreadsheet (admission number) in order to make a mail merge CSV?

So the update to this is Child 3 ended up with a barking cough so we ended up in A&E to confirm and treat for croup. Oh, but it didn't stop there... (1/2)
Child 2 in bed all day yesterday, running VERY hot. Child 3 spent all night burning up also and then throwing up everywhere at midnight. I am not burning up, but I'm certainly feeling burnt out

To be clear, with oracy I'd be fine with broad outcomes being specified and autonomy for schools to achieve them. It's an important area. But the oracy tail shouldn't wag the subject pedagogy dog.
