It's still driving me round the bend that I have to scroll down to find my place every time I load my posts on here. Surely it doesn't have to be this way!? #BlueskyHelp
Absolutely gutted with the Brentford match :( we were 5th at half time! Plus Thiago missing that penalty is extra gutting as that affects my #FPL team :'(

I remember when there was a discussion on Twitter about Shein's manufacturing practices and some apologists invented all sorts of fantastical machinery and technology to avoid facing the more horrifying truth. Reminds me of this comedian's joke.

There is a direct line between Donald Trump trying to destroy the BBC and him excusing the brutal murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Trump hates the independent free press – whether in the US, Saudi Arabia or the UK. We will always defend it.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

I didn't really get all the hate for the current government, thought their slow responses to things haven't been great but felt that was minor. This new refugee thing is horrendous though. Like, what the hell!?

Interesting to see so many great British patriots right now begging an American president to bankrupt one of Britain’s last remaining truly national institutions.

Great. Woke up to a payment to the London borough of Ilford for £55.10 at 03:32. Ilford isn't even a borough!? Obviously card now frozen and transaction reported. Harrumph.

I could cut down my marking time if I stopped throwing a wobbler throughout. They’re assessments and I’m reacting to each question like they’re cup final penalties.

Calling excel wizards: is there a way to make like a macro thingy that can combine certain data from two different spreadsheets. ie, I want to take a report I run each week (Sparx homework) and add a field from second spreadsheet (admission number) in order to make a mail merge CSV?

So the update to this is Child 3 ended up with a barking cough so we ended up in A&E to confirm and treat for croup. Oh, but it didn't stop there... (1/2)
Child 2 in bed all day yesterday, running VERY hot. Child 3 spent all night burning up also and then throwing up everywhere at midnight. I am not burning up, but I'm certainly feeling burnt out 🫩

To be clear, with oracy I'd be fine with broad outcomes being specified and autonomy for schools to achieve them. It's an important area. But the oracy tail shouldn't wag the subject pedagogy dog.
