It’s also undermining social security. When social security was “fixed” in 1983- the adjustment to social security financing was predicated on a financial model that assumed wages would grow as per prior decades. They didn’t. Over the past 40 years wages have been stagnant- driving a SS shortfall

I had a similar thought. Kind of unusual for a mother to not have any form of custodial role. Was that dad using mom’s immigration status to leverage full custody? Mom was on the cusp of being a legal resident. Is this ICE arrest the final solution for making dad’s full custody permanent?

I think he is already largely gone. He’s just an old player who gets called on occasionally for quotes or talking head segments.
Hard to say what kind of pull he really has these days to influence the Democratic Party leaders.

One small nit to pick in what is otherwise a fine piece. I believe the Democrats released 3 emails from the 23,000 obtained from the Epstein estate via subpoena. The 20,000 emails released shortly thereafter were released by Republican James Comey- presumably in attempt to drown out the Democrats
