This is what happened to me. Employers across the board need to be aware of how harassment campaigns work and do better to protect their employees from them. These people should not have a platform to profit off of harassment.
Two months after firing over Charlie Kirk comments, Ghost of Yotei dev blames harassment campaign, not 'bad joke'

It's easy to make fun of the size of this thing but it's actually an incredibly versatile device. Maybe think of it as a laptop that can be used as a tablet or a gaming handheld as well. All the 3D stuff can largely be ignored.

For around $800 it would be an excellent buy. But it's $1800 😅
New video! Here is my review of the abxylute 3D One -- it has a massive 11" screen, and is also capable of glasses-free 3D. It's the biggest 3DS you've ever held. youtu.be/m1imLbTl12c

Jennifer English realizing she's a lesbian and falling in love with one of her mocap directors (Aliona Baranova) over the course of making BG3 and seeing all the queer folks embracing Shadowheart and the impact the game had is genuinely one of the best stories in game production in a long time
Congrats to Jennifer English for winning the Best Lead Performer award at the 2025 #GoldenJoystickAwards!

And her acceptance speech about queer joy was a love letter to @aliona.bsky.social 🥹🌈

Swiftly becoming my number 1 meta AI annoyance is that it seems to take over everything. Rants on podcasts, accusations of usage in just about everything, articles about making it up a large percentage of my feed etc. It's like the Trump of tech topics (negative) and there is no off button.

Expedition 33 I think is the obvious GOTY winner. Hades 2 has a shot but all the other games I just don't see winning.

I can't see how the new Tomb Raider could be going well when layoffs are happening every 3 montha. When shit like this happens individuals & teams on a project have to refactor & reconstruct to move forward. A lot is wasted in transition. Not to mention tanking morale worse every time.

If "the PC" moves to ARM or any other architecture I suspect the industry will do everything they can to abandon modularity. SOCs, RAM, and storage will all be soldered in mini PC like designs. Basically an ewaste hellscape. I'm hopeful that this future will be rejected.

It's funny how easy it was for Steam to win the battle of the digital marketplaces. They just had to A) Be the first one and then B) Barely maintain a product that people like using. Pretty easy for a perfect company like Valve...

...oh wait.

Maybe I just hadn't been paying as much attention but numbers like this still surprise me. I wish I could look back to see how we ended up here (here meaning steam doubling both consoles).

Somebody reviewing a type of game that has yet to click for them with a truly open mind can be a very useful thing. The truly open mind part being rather important. As long as they let you know that this is where they're coming from, perhaps in the first paragraph.

ARC Raiders. First run got gunned down by the first person I saw. Well, he saw me really. Maybe the bright red hair was a mistake. Second run looted a bunch, saw nobody else, then extracted without firing my weapon once 🤷

All the original in universe songs in The Outer Worlds 2 are pretty nuts. I'd watch an hour long documentary just about putting these together.

I love that Daemon Tools is still in active development.

The idea that any company would buy or merge with the absolutely cursed doll that is Warner Bros in 2025 is hilarious to me.

The Outer Worlds 2 is a solid enough one of these. Although progression seems oddly constrained. I went a few hours in my last big play session without even getting a level up. I don't love staring at much higher skill requirements than I have for certain actions, even with skills I'm focusing on.

The new "Xbox" is introducing a whole new group of people to the joys of Windows 11 on a handheld. Welcome to the pain!

Here's how I deal with it: plug that bastard into proper PC peripherals for 4+ hours of setup. Update everything, clean up the OS, install and configure all your games...

This Dodgers vs Mariners World Series is increasingly likely. It's going to feel like my old life colliding with my current one isn't it.

The new Pokemon only cost 13m dollars to make because they don't respect you the player enough to put out a refined product that lives up to its potential. Nor do they respect their developers who have likely been working long thankless hours for years on shit salaries.
