So I’m playing a selkie in a 1920s Dresden Files LARP in March. Working on my sea snail shell purse today.
Doing some Thanksgiving cooking tonight. Dad wanted to try recipes from this issue of Southern Living. So I’m making the butternut squash and fennel gratin.
Quadrupled the garlic and onion.
Adding pistachios and likely some ground sage and sumac.

Yes, and yes. Though from Edmund’s perspective, years of sugar rationing would make you crave anything sweet. Maybe, also, he never had Turkish Delight before and what the witch conjured was what he thought Turkish Delight would taste like.

Went to Georgia’s Ren Fest Fall Fling as a ranger and came back a jackelope. I hope they continue to do this event. The taverns lit up at night gave a level of immersion I don’t think I’ve felt anywhere else.

I scroll my feed and there's a consistent kindness and creativity here I haven't seen in a long time. It's a nice feeling, and I treasure it.
