Welp.
NEW: Todd Blanche, the second-highest official at the DOJ, issued a memo to shut down enforcement against crypto companies while he still held more than $150,000 in crypto investments, ProPublica found.

One expert called it “an obvious conflict of interest.”

We are looking for a few of tax attorney volunteers to help us draft "defender of the rule of law" profiles for several former IRS / DOJ Tax Div attorneys who held the line against Trump's relentless attacks on the IRS in recent months.

It is almost #Thanksgiving. This year we are thankful to the courageous, ethical DOJ lawyers, who, in spite of pressure from superiors, refused to make arguments that are not based in fact or in law. Our landing page this week is wholly dedicated to these Defenders of the Rule of Law.
