I don't know if you've looked around lately, but our health care system sucks. Certain things should never be run on a "for profit" basis. Health care is one of those things.

Having managed IT budgets for many years at both private and public institutions, I'm well aware of the challenges. There are many ways to be creative on both the hardware and software side.
