Watching Alien Resurrection (a movie set in year 2381) and the doctor uses a gonioscopy lens (a mirror designed to press against the eye to examine anterior chamber angle) as some sort of cross cover examination tool (a technique to evaluate eye muscles) and I have nobody to talk to about this.

This is the culprit. He has deep set eyes, ectropion, and is half blind, but don’t let him fool you. He knew exactly what he was doing.
