I dunno Malcolm is 72, so who knows how long the Sugar thing will/can last.

Looking forward to it either way.

Oh yes, all from the first 3 albums.

Well i'm sure he will keep recording with them in the future and there (hopefully) will be more band tours once he has done the Sugar thing for a bit next year.

Enjoy. Envious. Really enjoyed the Glasgow gig on Thursday night, but a band show would have been even better.

Looking forward to Sugar in London. Only 6 months to go.

Decent, but sounds a wee bit dated now.

A lovely lustre, though. Can't put a price on that.

Yes it will almost certainly be a penalty awarded in the 99th minute...in the 2nd minute of extra time added onto the 7mins of official extra time

Listened to it loads. Love it.

I actually ordered it from his website to get the clear vinyl and large prints, but it never came till the Monday. Was on the doorstep when i got home from work having found out the news. Couldn't bear to even open it for a week.

That album has great songs but a piss weak production/mix.

Wish he had got the rights to it back before he died, so he could have remixed it like he did to great effect with The Last Days Of Pompeii.

Yes plenty of great songs on Intolerance and Last Days Of Pompeii, but Grant insisted on playing electric guitar on these albums (and live too), and quite frankly he was a shit guitar player, especially coming after being in a band with an incendiary player like Bob Mould.

Nah, Games is incredible. A Moukd classic.

Same with the redo of the 2541 b-side Come, Come.

They both sound like rough first time run through live band rehearsals of the songs or something.

Grant played all the instruments on Intolerance, but he is only really ok on drums and keyboards.

The version on Intolerance is a mess.

The original version of '2541' from the 12" is a classic.

I was always curious what happened to him after his brief period of hits, so looked it up and saw he co-wrote all the massive million selling US and worldwide hits for Mike and The Mechanics. Probably sits in his LA Mansion counting his $$$s.
