Lush - Split

Their best record. Shame it came out just when Britpop was starting to happen and the music press had moved on. Died a death back then, but thankfully it's gotten the appreciation it deserves now.

Needing a major vinyl space clear out, so selling the very limited Stone Anthem release.

Cahill/Costello II from 2024 on the Gearbox label

2 young Glasgow jazz musicians combine to make a dreamy spaced out post-rock epic.

If you like Seefeel and Bark Psychosis, check it out.

Bob Mould - Body Of Song

Strong offering from his large solo catalogue. Got things back on track after his brave but flawed attempt to embrace a more electronic direction on Modulate.

Was a little underwhelmed at the prospect of another covers album from Weller.

However, this is really excellent and maintains a long run of top notch albums from the man.

Only knew one song on this, Small Town Talk, because John Martyn covered it brilliantly on A Church With One Bell.
