No. It's not a term intended to mean autism. It is a term for any brain that does not exist according to the standards imposed by a neurotypical society. This includes Autism, ADHD, TBI, Epilepsy, Down Syndrome, Angelman syndrome, FASD, Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorder, and more.
